There has been growing concern from Samsung Galaxy S8 owners that they will not be getting the Android 10 and One UI 2.0 update. Samsung normally offers only two major OS updates, and the 2017 handset which launched with Android 7.0 has already had updates to Android 8.0 in February 2018 and Android 9.0 in February 2019, and is not currently included in the Android 10 beta. Samsung only released two major Android OS upgrades for the device. It wasn't on the list of Samsung devices that get three Android upgrades. Consequently, the Galaxy Note 8 did not get the Android 10 One UI 2.0 update . The company did provide four years of security updates for the device. Like S11/20 is coming and it will have Android 10 and will have 2 major updates while note series launches in September/October when new android update is around the corner. Samsung must give atleast 3 updates for their Note series and if they do so Note users would be happy. What you need to know. Samsung phones like Galaxy S23 Ultra, Galaxy A33, and Galaxy Z Fold 5 are stuck at older Google Play System updates. The issue, reportedly found earlier last year, is 9HHj.
